In an after school professional development session we (Rhonda, Jason, Kath, Murray and visiting teacher Peter) investigated digital cameras, their settings and basic editing using Macromedia Fireworks. Greg, Wendy, Stan and Allen attended a short (1hr) professional development today. We covered using a video camera, capturing video, editing video (trimming, transitions, effects) and exporting a video. Movie maker was easy for them to use with a wizard like environment. Enthusiasm towards video abounded.
