The hardest thing in this job is motivating people to change. People react in very different ways to change. Some are passive aggressive. Some are aggressive. Some are negative. Some are positive and enthusiastic. The question is how does a LWICT coordinator take in the good reactions and let the negative reactions slide off without impacting?

You really first must have the confidence to know that the change you wish to be the catalyst for is sound, and will help generate the very best 21st century educational outcomes. Then you need to to be able to accept any positive comments and constructive advice that may come your way. This may not happen often however, so when negative passivity and aggression comes your way, know how to sidestep it without it affecting or hurting you. Remember that only those with a stake, interest and expertise in the particular area of change can offer valid comment.
